DJ Stenchman and 12th Planet Dub Step Pressure in NYC


Just back from the “Pressure” pre-party at the Methods NYC boutique in Greenpoint, NYC. Part spring release for their clothing line, part opportunity to fly in 2 great out-of-Town DJ’s, party great excuse for a great party. 

Methods NYC brought together DJ Stenchman ( London,UK ) and 12th Planet ( LA ) with NYC dubstep champions, Encryption Projekt, Dave Gee, and Hellfire Machina.

U.K. dubstep hero Stenchman ( Jack Carter) has releases on dubstep’s biggest labels including;
10 Bag, Rottun Recs, 3.5, Thought, Foul Play, Suicide Dub, Hammer, XS DUBZ, HEAVY LOAD as well as his own lable – Bovinyl Moosick. In clubs, on radio and in the studio “Stenchman” continues to be a pioneer of the dubstep genre.

12th Planet, born in Los Angeles in 1982, John Dadzie aka Infiltrata / aka 12th planet, brings it to Methods NYC, May 8th at LOVE NYC. 12th planet became a big player in the d&b community with releases on Cartel, Renegade Hardware, Tech Itch, Barcode, Cymbalism, and Uprising. Infiltrata has forged successful collaborations with heavy hitting d&b artists such as Spor, Limewax, Concord Dawn, Evol Intent and Mayhem. Playing deep, dark, dubstep, NYC fans are in for a great night.


Encryption Projekt, Dave Gee and french dubstep ambassador DJ Freddie were spinning tracks at Methods shop, keeping the skank-head-bob going for fans and friends who braved Rainy NYC.
